Bio

Megan is a media composer, arranger and songwriter based in South London. She studied Music at Durham University and was recently awarded a Distinction for an MA in Composition for Film and Television at the University of Bristol.
Her recent work includes the score for the short animation “The Big Top,” which was shortlisted in multiple film festivals including the Norwich Film Festival and the South West Filmathon, and a collaboration to create an electronic sci-fi score for the computer game “Asteroid Zone”. Over the past year while completing her MA, Megan has been building up a strong media portfolio, her music covering a variety of genres from romantic sweeping orchestral scores to fast-paced action sequences, merging orchestral sounds seamlessly with electronic synths and ambient drones to create an exciting soundscape for the world she is creating.
As an orchestrator and arranger, Megan has been commissioned to arrange for various ensembles including choir Foot Notes A Capella Durham and eight piece chamber group Elvira Ensemble, examples of which can be found under the ‘Arrangements’ tab.
Megan is currently working on the music for a short animation, and is on the lookout for more scoring opportunities and commissions.
